Brussels 29 November 2018 – The EU chemicals sector is posting slower growth, with production inching up 0.2% from January to September 2018 compared to the same period of 2017.
Chemicals prices climbed 3.6% during the same period, while chemicals sales reached 3.6% through August 2018, their highest level in five years.
Chemicals exports jumped 4.2% and chemicals imports 6.8% between January and August 2018.
