Call for Transition Initiatives
Call for Transition Initiatives

Earlier this year, the European Commission published the Chemical Industry Transition Pathway, a dedicated roadmap to support the biggest transformation in the history of the sector. The document lays out 187 actions for the EU institutions, Member State governments, industry and NGOs to take together. Now, six months following its publication, the European Commission is collecting transition initiatives from across the board that are supporting its implementation.

Transition Initiatives are concrete actions that contribute to the double twin transition; that means those that support industry to go climate neutral, circular, digital and transition to safe and sustainable chemicals. The initiatives should include specific targets and milestone and be linked to the overall objectives of the Transition Pathway. All projects will be published on the European Commission website.
