The signatories support the European Commission’s ambition to establish lead markets for clean products supporting European industries. However, we are concerned that the measures currently under discussion fall short of creating credible demand. We therefore urge the Commission to ensure that the forthcoming Industrial Accelerator Act includes a robust demand side strategy, underpinned by clear and predictable measures that go beyond voluntary initiatives. This is critical for Europe to attract investment, maintain competitiveness, and safeguard its industrial resilience.
