Summary

This position paper sets out five key actions for the upcoming 2025 Bioeconomy Strategy. The revision of the Bioeconomy Strategy should be mainstreamed into all forthcoming legislations and should prioritise actionable and implementable measures for developing an industrial bioeconomy, fostering the international competitiveness and resilience of the EU while adhering to planetary boundaries, and serve both as an industrial and competitiveness strategy.
