Sylvie Lemoine Appointed as Deputy Director General of Cefic
Cefic is pleased to announce the promotion of Sylvie Lemoine to the esteemed position of Deputy Director General.
Sylvie Lemoine has been an integral part of Cefic’s Leadership Team for several years in her capacity of Executive Director Product Stewardship. She has made significant contributions in shaping strategic initiatives in the areas of the Chemical Strategy for Sustainability, chemical risk management and assessment, product safety and communication, alternative approaches to animal testing, among others. For example, Sylvie’s leadership has been instrumental in setting the Cefic REACH Dossier Improvement Action Plan to help Cefic members systematically review data in previously submitted REACH registration dossiers.

As Deputy Director General, Sylvie will assume broader responsibilities in driving Cefic’s vision, fostering collaboration with stakeholders, and addressing the challenges and opportunities faced by the chemical sector. She will continue to lead the development and implementation of impactful strategies that contribute to the goals of the European Green Deal.
