LIVE WEBINAR Safe handling guideline for NMP: How to comply with REACH restriction 71

On 30 April from 2:00 to 3:00 pm, Petrochemicals Europe (an industry sector of Cefic) in cooperation with ECHA will organise a live webinar (free of charge). During the webinar, experts from ECHA, the Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM), Lyondell Chemie and Cefic will give an overview of the NMP restriction and of ECHA’s guideline for downstream users. They will also give tips and how to monitor and check its compliance to the restriction.

In April 2018, the European Commission published a restriction (Regulation (EU)/2018/588) for NMP. All downstream users of NMP have until 9 May 2020 (9 May 2024 for the wire winding sector) to implement the restriction. The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) developed a guideline to help NMP downstream users comply with the restriction.
