Join the webinar – How can Europe turbocharge the transition to 2050 with digital technologies?

June 13-13, 2023
Online

Digitalisation has the power to transform the European chemical industry, revolutionising the sector’s solutions and enabling a circular, more sustainable economy. A latest study, co-led by Cefic and Arthur D. Little, is the first-ever attempt to outline how digital technologies can accelerate our industry’s transformation and make processes and products more sustainable. Artificial intelligence, big data, Internet of Things, digital twins, robotics, virtual/augmented reality, and blockchain, are just some examples, but how are they used across our sector? And what is needed to scale them up?

We will be joined by the European Commission, industry and innovation ecosystem to present the study findings and tackle questions like:

  • What are the best approaches for scaling up new digital technologies which are essential for the transition?
  • What are the opportunities and challenges facing our industry and how can further actions be better incentivised?
  • How can industry and EU institutions better address technological challenges, like data availability, interoperability, standardisation, etc.?

Join us to learn what is needed to supercharge the transition to 2050 through digital technologies.
