Chemical Watch Regulatory Summit Europe 2023

This event will bring together regulators, industry experts, NGOs, and service providers to give their insights into the developments shaping the safe management of chemicals, including REACH, CLP, and the CSS.

Anne Chloe Devic, representing Cefic, will present and discuss the “Safe and Sustainable-by-Design” (SSbD) approach developed by the European Commission in collaboration with various stakeholders, including industry, research institutions, NGOs, and more. Devic will provide insights into the proposed framework, currently undergoing testing through calls for case studies, and share updates on the EU-funded project IRISS (iriss-ssbd.eu). She will also explore how the strategic value chains ecosystem can accelerate the implementation of SSbD.
