Over three sessions, participants will discuss key themes, including:
- REACH enforcement: how to prepare inspections on site, understand ECHA’s role in enforcement, and examine remedies at EU level.
- EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive: As discussions continue on the Commission’s simplification proposals, we will examine legal uncertainties around transition plans, civil liability, and scope of due diligence duties.
- Polluter Pays Principle (PPP) & Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR): Legal implications of the PPP and the design of the first EPR for diffuse pollution under the Urban Wastewater Treatment Directive.
