European Refining Technology Conference 2020

The ERTC Virtual will take place on 17-18 November 2020 and is organized by the World Refining Association. The event offers an online web-based platform to connect with the refining world and to hear the latest industry updates. 2020 topics include:

• Aligning the European Commission’s Green Deal to the long-term strategy of refiners
• Streamlining existing assets to increase cost savings and improve energy efficiency across the refiner
• Identifying new technologies and assets to make refineries competitive on the journey to a carbon-neutral Europe in 2050.

Henk Pool, Cefic Innovation Manager, will represent Cefic in a panel debate of the “Petrochemicals Stream”, which is dedicated to petrochemical production and chemical recycling methods going forward from a refiner perspective.
